Default RE: Trying to get rid of a tune

I honestly don't know which tunes were on it. The only ones I know of were the 87, 89, and 93 octane tune. I don't think that he had any custom tunes on there. And I don't know if the strategy code matched my car or not. I'm not familar with tuners, and my buddy wasn't really either.

I don't know if the car had been reflashed before, I don't know how I could tell.

I think I'm just going to take it to a ford dealership and have them reflash it and i'll get all the info from them on the new update they put on my computer. That way i'll have the info for when I get the new tuner.

^if he had the different octane level tunes on the tuner they would be for his car. His tunes would not be good for your car unless it had the exact same code, mods, etc. Strategy code is read through the tuner from your car.
