Man, it must be hard to keep the salt and slush off the car driving it in the winter.

They don't use salt up here. They use the mag chloride and cinders left over from the gold rush days. It leaves a white film on the car but the new car wash in town uses some sort of "special" soap to cut it off as told to me by the owner. I love that car wash. They have a drivethrough but I use the wand so I can blast the undercarriage. Heated entrance and exit surfaces and they take plastic so no worries about having quarters.

Whenever i plan to wash my car the weather man calls for rain the next day. The rain never comes. Then when he calls for a couple days of i sun i decide to wash my car and the next day we have an unexpected downpour. I hate the weather man hear. Im on week 7 of not washing my car.

In the winter I take mine to a local drive-thruhand car wash and have them clean the exterior. I take care of interior at home.

Yeah, I feel your pain. Down here in Florida when it gets down in the sixties, it gets way to cold to go outside and wash the ride. So we have to wait about a day till it goes back up to about eighty, before we can go back out to git-r-done. [8D]
