I found some wheels that I like...but....
So here are the rims I've found that I really like. Anyone have these or other Boss rims? Only problem is that they're only 18x8, while I was looking for atleast 18x9. Is there a big difference between 18x8 and 18x9 in terms of traction and performance?Do you knowwhat the '06 stock GT rims are?

Lots of wheel choices out there. I would pass on those if it were me. But to each there own. I think these new Stangs look mean as hell with a wheel with a little lip to them.

To answer your question, there is a big difference in the amount of tire you can put on a 18x8 vs 18x9. You could put a 275/40/18 tire on a 18x9 but you shouldn't go wider than a 245/45/18 on the 18x8. Again these tires are a little smaller in diameter than stock. Stock diameter would be a 235/50/18 for 18x8 and a 255/45/18 for the 18x9.

Thats where the performance will come into play.
Stock 18's are 18x8.5 why go to a narrower wheel?
