I swear I thought I heard the Shaftmaster's DSs vibrate at high speeds? Any truth to this?
I've heard nothing but good about Shaftmasters, which is the reason I chose them.

I just put in the spydershaft last night, and it was a real simple job with the right tools. I can't really tell much difference in power but you can defiantly tell you have a new drive shaft in there, you feel a little more vibration but I like it, feels like i have more control or something. If anyone remembered I was getting a loud clunking noise after I put in new suspension and it turned out to be the driveshaft. Now its quiet as stock almost. I'd defiantly say its worth the money in my case. LEGION5 what’s your definition of an improperly lowered car, just curious?
More vibration? I thought theSpyder shaft was supposed to decrease vibration.[sm=dontgetit.gif]

If you just have the Roush rear springs, is it going to throw off the pinon angle too much?

just having rear springs would make it worse than having both front and rear, just get an adjustable uca and some relocation brackets, they are worth equal to 10hp on a launch...

To date, we have hadonly one complaint from all of our Mustang customers. This turned out to be an adapter install problem. Once the customer reseated the adapter at our suggestion his vibration is gone and he is totally satisfied. We will always strive for 100% customer satisfaction!

Just picked up mine from shaftmasters. Great customer service, quick delivery, and overall great product. The dyno will not change much with a ds. The gains are in acceleration(less rotational mass), and strength. The average seems to be about 2 tenths on the track. I will post up my results when I get it to the track.

The spydershaft will transmit more vibration. Thats just part of having a long stiff hollow tube. Doesnt mean it doesnt decrease the actual amount ofvibration.

It will eliminate the clunking, withstand more power, withstand a higher rpm,and should improve ET's by 1/10 to 3/10 of a second.
I have a very good log of ET's without it and will be changing only the DS so I should have actual numbers soon (Hopefully in about 8 days). However 2/10 seems about average.

I seem to remember Modified Mustang magazine testing a 4" aluminum shaft on a pretty much stock mustang and picking up either 12 or 17 ft/lbs of torque in the midrange. I don't remember what the horsepower increase was. Might have been about 10hp. I think it was the June 07 issue. I have a 4" powerhouse shaft and noticed a difference.
