Very nice write up.
I don't think there is much of a difference really. I used the J&M bar mostly because I used their trailing arms. The J&M bar is bigger because it is aluminum which needs to be bigger to be as reliable as the CrMo Steeda bar. They probably weigh the same or very nearly so.
