I wondered about that at the time which i think i voiced, they were just so finely cut and the dash has that mottled contoured surface. Only way to do it is to degrease the dash thoroughly and then warm it before application. I use a duplicolor product for that. The dash goes White from the degreaser but later, after at least 24 hours following application, you can apply silicone or Armour-all to bring the lustre back.

ya it does suck bad when your car is you daily driver but frankley i would rather be cleaning salt off then fixing f-ed up fenders from sliding into barriers. i just hate walkin out side when its 10 degrees or less out and my car is filthy and i cant clean the damn thing
