K&N Intake installed

K&N Intake installed
Finally got the K&N intake installed today. I know that Steeda and C&L seem to be the more popular brands in here, but I must admit that I am pretty satisfied with the power addition the K&N gave me. Of course I can't tell if I'm really getting the claimed 15 extra horses, but I do feel more power. Between the K&N intake and the JBA axlebacks, I am getting a nice sound, more responsive and faster revs and a noticeable bump in power.
One odd thing though, my MPG seemed to get worse after installing the JBA last week, and then dropped down even more after the intake install today. My display is showing me a 10mpg average. Call me crazy, but better air flow should be increasing mileage.
Well, I obviously didn't buy this car for good fuel mileage, so I'm not complaining, just found it odd.

RE: K&N Intake installed
Does the predator have a tune for the k&n? I was looking at CAI's and was thinking about the k&n but I dont know if the predator will work. I already had a predator but had to send it back, they sent the wrong one.

RE: K&N Intake installed
it will lead to a melted motor thou lol
the way ppl drive the stang , no one will see gas mileage get better lol
the diff between lean n rich is like 2 miles per so no one would notice
expect the poor motor dying from heat
try n get a tune for CAI n pipes n use should be fine
will run alot better n you n motor will be happy for sure
have fun
