Default New Rims installed on my 08 gt

Just installed a set of gt500 takeofff rims/tires.. holly cow these things are wide, the throw things everywhere! I do have one question though, is the tpms the same as the factory fanblades? I checked all the pressures but the fault is still showing on my dash.. what could be causing this?

Looking very good!

I think you're going to have to get the sensors programmed for your car's computer since they were actually made to work with a different car.

255/45/18 285/40/18 to asnwer ya deekum.

Drew, if the new wheels have sensors installed, they will need to be programed for your car. You just cant swap them and expect the car to recognize them.
This would cause issues when you pulled up to another stang with TPMS at a red light, lol.

I believe you will have to purchase new bands which are $80 a peice in order to swap the sensors over to your new rims. The ones I have seen on Ford vehicles are not able to be removed without breaking the band.

Did you break down the old tires and remove the sensors from the old rims? If not, this will cause your light to go on because there would in fact be no sensors!

Heres one more shot to see how wide the backs are..
FRONT P255/45ZR18
REAR P285/40ZR18

Is there a way to get these sensors reprogrammed?
I still have the stock dark fanblades for now, looking to sell though
