I have a 91 oct tune. from vmp. I ran my car down to about 1/8 of a tank of gas because it had 87 in it. and i filled it up with 93 oct because thats all we have here. and now i haveUSEDa little over 1/4 of my 93 oct, so i have 3/4 of a tank in my car.. so do you think I can load my tune?..

I would wait for the next fill up. Just to be on the safe side.

Unless you plan on doing excessive full throttle runs, youll be fine.

You'll be fine, just go easy on it until your next fill up. Question though. If all you have in your area is 93, why did you go with a 91 octane tune?

If you had 1/8 tank of 87 octane and filled it with 93 you're over 91 octane. Even if you were at 1/2 tank of 87 and filled with 93 you'd be at 90 octane. Go for it.

I think you are fine to load it. Like asked earlier, why did you get the 91 octane tune? Well, I guess if you wanted to travel, 93 gas isn't offered everywhere.

because 93 isnt offered everywhere. And some of my gas stations carry 91. so I should be okay to load the tune?

Okay I loaded the tune.. and wow the gas peddle seems alot more touchy. But this could be because of the poor tune i had.. from american muscle. But everything sounded normal.

Of course it is. Like I said above, even with a 1/2 tank 87 octane and 1/2 tank of 93 octane you would have been at 90 octane. The fact that you had 1/8 tank of 87 and filled it with 93 put you above 91.

Just load the tune and fill up as soon as you can. I'm sure you'll be more than happy with Justin's tune !!
