Hey, i've got an 06 black GT, charcoal interior and 18" polished bullits,the only appearance mods are Astra Hammond rear louvres (painted to match car)and Flowmaster axelbacks (I know, not considered by everyone to be an appearance mod, but it's most definatley an appearance UPGRADE from the stock axelbacks IMO). Anyways, I'm wanting to do a new hood, the silver horse racing flush quarter louvres, possibly a CDC chin spoiler...kinda borderline on that right now, racing stripes, and possibly an upper and lower billet grill insert with the pony cut out. I wanna do rims in the future but i'm noBill Gates and these mods alone are gonna come one at a time. I know the look I'm going for but just want some suggestions and advice first.

1. What color of racing stripes do you guys suggest on a black mustang? I'm leaning towards either white, flat black, or silver.

2. What are some of your guys' favorite hoods in the $500 range?

3. Willthe lower billet grill insert from americanmuscle.comfit with a CDC aggresivechin spoiler or would that have to be customly fabricated?

1. I think a darker silver painted stripe(s) would look pretty good.
2. Lots to choose from but my thought on changing the hood include both heat extraction as well as looks. I like Saleens hood but it's definately not <=$500, unfortunately.
3. Don't know.

Ummm yea...most definatley just solved that problem...love the GTS hood and those stripes...won't be doin the shelby lettering across the hood and prolly wont do the hood pins...but the rest is rockin'. If anyone else finds anything cool please do post

2. sorry, no good suggestions here. if i start thinking about hoods, next thing i know i'll have bought one.

3. from what i understand, the cdc aggressive does require minor bumper modifications, which may or may not affect the fitment of the lower grille; that i'm not sure about. have you thought about just getting the cdc classic? you'd have no problems with that baby!
