cai & tune. DOITDOITDOITDOITDOIT. you will need the tuner when you for FI anyway, and you will experience a nice pickup in power and performance right now.

I've heard if you go with a Steeda CAI that you can get a discount on a Brenspeed Saleen SC kit down the road. I've heard the tune can actually improve MPG, of course that depends on how you drive it. You might be more lead-footed after the tune

I never have gone CAI/tune myself cause I knew I was going the FI route.

Sorry to hear about the job..

Absolutely correct. That's what I did. Steeda CAI/tune from Brenspeed, then when the time came for the Saleen, I got a $385 discount off of a stage kit. w00t!!

Not that I really have to explain, but you are all my new friends so I will. I am losing my 9-5 job. I going to start powder coating out of my house. I have all my stuff to do it. I am certified and want to do it. I will most likely make about the same a week if not moresince I dont have to spend 25-30$ a day in gas.. But untill i can prove to my wife we will be ok, I will step down alittle bit on car stuff. I bought the crew cab because I have 4 kidsso I need the room, I haul a trailor to pick up car ans such. By the way I get 15-17 with a 4.6 crew cab with the edge programer in tow mode. I had a 07 sports trac but the tranny alsways had problems since day one. (warning the 4.6 sport tracs are on notice for that) So ford did a buy back after lots of yelling..
Now back to the real forum.. Mustangs..
What would be a fun cheap upgrade! I just dont want to mod something and get 15 MPG with the car too! LOL
