Yeah , the only thing is if im going to spend the money i want to make it stand out and look good. im thinking about lowering it an inch to elminate the gap but im not sure yet. I also found these wheels and think they might look better since there 18's. its just a tough choice when i cant see them on my car and its alot of money. any ideas on this one?

They don't say their for an 05 make sure you get something that fits the 05.

As far as tires go Toyo makes some good tires that will last for a few miles, but for a softer tire falken makes a good tire. Both are popular just depends if you want somthing that is going to last longer or somthing with better grip. Michelin also makes a quality tire.

Ya know.... I been bitchin about that too! It is torch red, trust me. On my ViewSonic flat screen TTF monitor, it looks orange. On the Dell 21" CRT monitor I have at work, it looks red. Even the calipers look orange, they are bright red. Glad you mentioned it, I thought it was just my monitor!!
Kind of like how hybridmoments' car looks orange in his pictures too, and I am pretty sure it is not. Guess I will blame it on the camera.

I think the 05's need 18" wheels to really look right. Ford put the front wheels too close to the front of the car to pull off a 16 or 17" wheel.

Go with 18's and you'll love it.

yeah i want 18's but i found the 17's for 150 on v6stangstuff.com and i think thats a good deal. the other site had them at 175. also the 18s are 255$ but its still a tough decision. i just bought jimmy buff ,jack johnson, and dave mathews tickets which isnt helping my bank account but i was favoring the 17s. maybe if i lower it it will look better. anymore opinions? also i noticed the orange car lol. how did you paint your brake calipers? i want to do that too. keep the opinions coming because im going to get these wheels one the spring weather actually comes!. thanks

Took off the wheels, removed the calipers, took out the pads, applied a very liberal ammount of masking tape and news paper.
Then did 2 coats of Rust-Oleum primer, 3 coats of brake caliper paint ( found at Pep Boys ).

I'm gonna have to snag the wifes camera and take more pics and see what color they come out. Damn...I was fine with it when I thought it was just my monitor

deep dish 17s or 18s? i found these on this site and its alot cheaper than the others. this has the snake in the middle and not the ford racing sign? not as good quality or what? does anybody know? anybody order from these people, heres the link
