Intercooler, Very important. Always get the biggest one that will fit. Heard someone say it is a six so I dont know if they make one for the 6 or not but with a vortech I would the water aftercooler.

Well I am planning to get the 03/04 Cobra Alco heat exchanger, which is also air to water so I know what I can get for the intercooler already.

You want a intercooler, heat exchanger if for the roots style blower.

But the vortech already has a small heatexchanger on the front. Even vortech calls it a heat exchanger.

Having owned a v6 I wouls highly suggest that you get the DS replaced ASAP. Even the DS with the clips are prone to failure at high speeds.

that having been said, I think thatfor your situation, a larger cooler would be in order as a high IAT could get you at anyspeed where the DS will ruin your day at high speeds.

A bigger intercooler really needs tuning to take advantage of it, and possibly a smaller pulley. A driveshaft will show good gains, even with a SC already installed. Most get 0.2 seconds in the quarter mile.

Intercooler is usually the air to air/water part. The heat exchanger is the radiator for the water part of the intercooler.

Forget the driveshaft, go for the intercooler.
