removing vacuum line
i was wondering is it harmful to the engine if you the disconnect the vacuum line from the intake. it almost sounds like its cammed when its removed

if its on the drivers side it could be either the PCVorthe EVAP if its on the passanger side its just a breather hose either way i wouldnt disconnect any of them they are there for a reason

If the line is big enough to cause the engine to missyou have leaned out the air fuel mixture. This is something you do not want to for aany period of time as repairs would get costly.It will also trip that little yellow light in your dash.In the days before electronic fuel injection a vehicle with a so called hot cam ran rough due to the low vacuum and the cylinders loading up with fuel. They had very poor road manners and were only good for high rpm driving if then.

It sounds like you are probably sucking in unmetered air...definitely not a good idea at all...

I agree, removing it wouldquite possiblyalso cause you to have to remove a lot of money from your wallet at some point. Better to leave it on. Get some good mods to make it sound (and run) meaner.
