I dont see how you FI guys do it!
So I went joyriding today... I usually do on saturday but today I really took it to the car, several miles up mt. lemmonand around the back roads below the mountain. I found that I constantly spun tires in first and into second during launch, and constantly lost grip when accelerating in a turn. There were a few moments that Ilost steering when accelerating out of turns because if I hit it hard enough, and if the rear didnt break loose, then the front end lifted so much that my steering would go away. I watched my dashhawk record 4.6, 4.9, and 4.1 (probably a downhill slope) of 0-60mph times, and a 5.8 0-60 during an obvious uphill straight.
My point is that for my entire drive my car was on the borderline of all-out and completely losing it. If I had F/I Im pretty sure I would've wrecked many months ago.
You guys must have a lot of self control.

I am running Nitto DRswith my procharger setup and I haven't had trouble at all...granted I just broke the clutch in recently, but even before the procharger with the nitto DRsmy car handled great...

This is one of the fears I have when going with the larger pully and intercoler with my FI. I'm interested in this thread generating some good ideas.
