Default recomended oil and filter

its time for my first oil change on my 07 gt,what would you guys recomend?i dont mind spending a few extra $ for some stuff that is worth it.i used to run royal purple in my camaro but that stuff is so expensive.

You will get tons of suggestions / opinions on this one...Personally, I am using Mobil 1 full synthetic and Motocraft oil filters.....

yeah,i will probably do mobil 1,its what i have always used until i did the royal purple. i wont use a fram filter,heard ALOT of bad things about them,either k&n or mobil 1 probably.

wanted to know if there was anything else out there to consider for our cars and if anything new was out.

factory motorcraft 5-20 synthetic blend here..and a motorcraft oil filter..wal-mart sells the motorcraft oil filters at half the price of the dealers, and i think they carry the same oil now to..

dont use mobil one or K&N filter...they are more money and are not as good as motorcraft. The motorcraft filter is better than the K&N and Mobil 1... From the comparisons I have seen the only one that is better than the motorcraft is the Ford Racing filter, which is costly, and you can only buy them in cases of 12

mobil 1 full synthetic and mobil 1 or k&n filter depending whichever one i find on the rack first lol
