I guess it depends on where you want to increase your performance. Straightline - then a strong argument can be made for 4.10 gears. Twisties - then the LCAs would be a better bet (though some folk I know say they help control wheel hop which would help straightline performance too). Also a panhard bar swap would be helpful if your looking to increase suspension performance.

+1 on the driveshaft - you will definitely want one if you are getting the Whipple. UCA,LCA too.

What about Steeda Ultralites ($209), Hurst short throw ($189), and Sequitial tail lights ($90-149). Total $500 to $550.
