Yep, you will have 5 holes...
A big one and 4 little ones around it[8D].
No harm can be done if left open, just look like cr@p.

Where's Nelson (NELSGT), he made a plug for his.

yeah, there isgoing to be holes. Best way to do it would be to take it to a body shop and have the antenna shaved

maybe you guys are misunderstanding me. i want to ONLY remove the antenna by unscrewing it, leaving the black plastic cap ON. anything wrong with doing doing this?

go to a body shop near you and buy a push in plug, let them look at it so you get the right push-in (3.5mm).cost about 1.00

i have a shorty and no you will only have the one hole if you unscrew it and as long as youre not worried about the radio then you'll be perfectly fine

I had it unscrewed for about a month because I never used the radio but didn't want to buy a short antenna. I had no problems while it was off. I put it back on because I ended up needing the radio for traffic reports. The radio still works fine

Yes you can just unscrew it with no problems. The holes they are talking about is if you remove the black mast piece. Then their will be holes under it. But since thats not what you want to do, just unscrew it.
