Default RE: here is my delima

if i keep it i will keep mod'ing it i have had fun doing it this far. researching parts trying to squeeze every little amount of HP out of each part. and yes cost is defeinently an issue i would only buy one if i made a decent profit off of my GT. i would have no problems at all buying another GT. the only reason i considered buying the GT500 besides it is s beautiful looking car(and also that fact that i have always wanted a cobra) is the engine. i wanted the 5.4 liter to be in the new mustang GT. i am not disapointed in my car at all it is awsome. but i like 351W i know this engine is not a full 351 but it is close i didn't even have to have it supercharged i just wanted that engine not to mention that the cobra will probubly handle great. In my opinion if you were ever considering owning a COBRA 2006 is the year to do it it looks awsome and is the most powerful modern cobra offered by ford to date. but if i end up keeping my GT or saling it and getting a 2006 i still love what ford has done with their STANGS!

Well I read it and got this out of it.
1) Has a silver GT
2) Wants a GT500
3) Is struggling with what to do

IMO, stay with the GT you have and keep mod'n it to get it where you like and enjoy the process. Yes, the GT500 is damn sexy but so it the GT. Assuming cost is no issue, it may also be a hard car to get but that's just a feeling. I too like the GT500 but would never consider buying it given the $40K USD price tag. For me, buying a sub-$30K car and adding $5-10K of mods is more fun than just getting a stock. I've never had so much fun installing mods on this car than I have any other car. I look at the various add-ons and enjoy the discussions and befits of adding each.

But hey, this is a personal choice and this is just my 2 cents! Good luck!

why would somebody not sell it???? if your really making that profit you could buy a new one thats exactly the same and mod it 5 times as much.

This is all to long winded.

1. Sell Mustang for profit
2. Buy BMW or Mercades
3. Bring #2 back to US and sell for profit
4. Pay cash for GT 500

Now I realy like this idea. When I was in the Navy stationed in Scottland, The Mustang II was around. No one wanted them.

Sell it!
