Default Saleen S/C guys inside....

Couple questions: can an intake (such as the MWG) cover fit over the Saleen cover and not hit the hood? (it would have to be modified I take it, as I have seen that their fuel rail covers fit with modifications)

If not, is the Saleen cover just that, a cover, or is it actually keeping stuff on the inside that should be kept on the inside, lol? If it's just a cover, I am guessing you can just take it off and mod the MGW cover to replace it and have it fit?

Also, I know some peeps have spiffed up their Saleen covers, I would like to see pics of them to!! Thanks guys!

The cover will not fit over the Saleen SC's hat. I have seen somebody on the forum that will polish the hat for you for money.
can't remember his name.

The Saleen supercharger does not have a "cover". That top part is the intake plenum. If you want to know if that cover will cover the Saleen supercharger, call them up. They've had a Saleen supercharged car in there and did test fits of their parts in the car. That's how they know how and where to trim the fuel rail covers. They are also very friendly and will gladly talk to you. -Joe

The picture above the guy took it to a shop and had them polish it for him, i will ask him but i believe be paid 300 which isnt bad. You look at any other s/c that is sold and they sell a polished version usually for like 500 more.

Theres also this one , and a guy actually makes these and sells them on his own for $315

They are local, I will have to give them a call tomorrow. From everything I have heard though, there's just no clearance between the hood and the Saleen "hat".
