The MAC's are killer in person, youtube kinda does a good comparison to what they sound like. It took me about 5 months to find the right axlebacks for me. I wanted a deep throaty, yet sound like a muscle car still. I've heard the Flows and was very dissapointed, sounded really high tone/ rattle sound. I had flows on my old jeep and loved it, but IMO not for the newer stangs.

Here is a video with the following set ups. and the sound qaulity is as good as it gets .
The borlas are waaaaaaaay over rated, pricedand timid in my eyes, as you will see your self even with the o/r they seem pretty tame to alot of the other set ups. The sound is smooth as everybody says but barely hasany bite to it. IMO
The first car is mac with the o/r h

3rd is i dunno 03 model

The video shows how tame the borlas are. other set ups with the stock cats were louder then the o/r set up with the borlas. They may not be tame compared to other cars but for the s197 they are, and theres no better way to notice it then the way this vdeo was shot.
They may seem loud when theres no othe stangs around
you even hear the owner of the black car with the borlas say floor it.....then hesays it sounds soquiet

The Macs are awesome. They are much louder then stock. They sound like **** with an O/R midpipe....but they are VERY VERY deep. They are the best IMO. They do drone at certain RPM's but it doesn't bother me at all. I will always remember the night I put them on and drove it for the first time
. They will get your car noticed....but not because they are obnoxiuosly loud. I am very happy with them.
