Eibach Pro Kit installed - Lots of photos
Hi all,
My local Ford dealer installed my Eibach Pro Kit in my 2005 GT today. The car handles a bit better. The ride is a tiny bit stiffer but very comfortable. The kit only drops the car 1.2" in front and 1.4" in back.
The photos are in my photo gallery:

For those of you considering a more aggressive drop you may want to stick with this one. I can't imagine dropping it lower.
The way it is now it looks great in person. Some of the photos make it look REAL low but it's pretty nice.
I hope you all enjoy the photos and please ask questions or give comments!

RE: Eibach Pro Kit installed - Lots of photos
Comes with instructions, 4 springs, front and back, and new front boots.
I bought my kit from StangSuspension.com
The price was about $230.00 and they shipped the kit IMMEDIATELY. I was emailed a tracking number so I knew when to expect the kit. Excellent service.
They also offered great advice and talked me out of a lower kit. thank goodness

Answering lostsoul:
Ford charged out 3 hours labor for the spring kit swap - at my dealer it was $180.00...
VERY Important is that they did a front end alignment after the change. That was a flat rate of $79.99. Side note: I will be changing the wheels and tires very soon so I will again get the front end aligned.
The drop is minimal so it does NOT require new shocks. You can change the shocks if you wish but it's not necessary with the Eibach Pro Kit. There are other kits that will lower the car more and you will need to replace shocks at with those kits.
So... total investment:
$230 Spring Kit
$180 Installation
$80 Alignment
----
$490

Zeebo,
I took a few photos from ground level so you can see the new clearance.
As for the ride quality:
Corners: It handles better in the tight curves. Much better. This I think is due to the lower center of gravity. It does seem to be more sensitive when it comes to steering... but it may be because I'm paying more attention. All in all I would say cornering is improved which is one reason I decided to use this kit.
Straight line: The ride is almost identical to the before in a straight line. Maybe a tiny bit stiffer. The springs in the kit are "Progressive Rate" just like the OEM springs.
It seems that I get better traction from a stop. I'm not sure if that's just an illusion or if my foot was a bit light today. []
Bumps: I went over a large speed bump at normal speed and I hit something. That particular parking garage is where I normally park my Jeep so I forgot to slow down. After that I went through it again with no problems when I drove a bit more cautious.
