Anyone do Metra amplified antenna install on a convertible?
Hey everyone,
I am going to do the custom antenna delete mod on my '06 GT convertible:

I want to install the metra amplified antenna to replace it like below:
https://mustangforums.com/m_3071853/tm.htm
Has anyone done this before? The above link is for a coupe, would it work the same on a convertible?

I have done car audio for 12 years and will say the amplified hidden antenna will NOT perform as good as a mast antenna. Since I rarely if ever listen to FM I just removed the mast. I have iPod and Sirius.
