Rust Spot on underhood of my s197
When I was washing my car I found to rust bubbles just where you put your hand in to get the latch to open the hood. WTF?!?!?!?! Has anybody have this problem? I read there is a TSB on it.
Can anybody tell me their experience with the dealership and this situation? I'm planning on taking the car there tommorow and would like to know how to pursue the situation.

There was another thread a couple days back. Make sure you're still under the 3 years/36,000 mile warranty (I think thats the one) I took my car in for it at 47,000, and they turned me away.

I don't see how dealerships are turning away people so easily since the warranty against paint corrosion perforation (bubbling) is for 5 years with unlimited mileage.

its prob not rust the hood is made out of aluminum and when they stamp the top and bottom together there is edge sealer (glue) that is applied in various locations and from the 8000 cars I have seen all of them have been sealent squeezed out and Ford doesnt really do anything about it unless its in a highly visible spot.
