Need help with cobalt wideband a.f. gauge

Anyone installed one of these gauges I got mine installed and when I start my car it reads 14.7 which is the norm at idle or normal driving from what I'm told but it does not move when I'm at wot it just stays between 14.6 and 14.8 but on the dyno it drops down to 11.4 at wot any suggestions on how to get this thing working right

Yeah, I'd be interested in some info about that myself. I thought you would get a fluctuating number depending on whether your at wide open throttle or idle.

Personally I think a good exhaust thread is in order.

first, we need to know a couple of things:

model # of your gauge

&

how do you currently have it wired up

I have the Cobalt wideband. Where is your O2 sensor? Have you changed the calibration from the default? Did you hook up the brown wire for the WOT throttle/memory. (I did not)
Most important thing is an O2 sensorneeds to be as close to the head as possible so it is heated immediately when the gauge is initialized. O2 sensors in general go bad too - frequently. My Cobalt has been fine though.
My A/F varies from 14.7 to 15.9 at idle. At wide-open throttle I usually see 11.6 solid maybe a 11.5 occasionally. Driving around at part-throttleit changes constantly

Hammeron .... its the only wideband a.f. gauge autometer makes in the cobalt series and I'm really not sure how my installer hooked it up but everything seems to work but I'm not getting a true reading at wot so now I'm worried I'm not getting a true reading period.

Zkiller.... I do know my installer just grounded the brown wire it looks like all the grounds are on the firewall now I have long tube headers and I read the instructions and it says to put the o2 sensor in the collector if you have long tubes but the installer took out the factory o2 and put the o2 for the wideband in its place do u think that may be the problem? Also i did mess with some of the settings but cant really remember what i did to be honest. When i start my car it does the 20 sec countdown for the heater to get to temp then it just stays between 14.6 and 14.8 any help would be great because I'm lost and I'm not good withwiring at all thanks 4 your time.

should the o2 sensor for my wideband be installed in front on the cats cause i believe mine is behind the cat could that be the problem?
