RE: The formula to your mid 12 Sec. Stang
Okay, thanks. So how can I find out which ones I have? Just look at the sales window sticker thing? If it doesn't have 3.55's listed under options, then I can rule those out and I have 3.31's for sure?

dont people say the delete plates do very little w/out forced induction?
changing mufflers will do something depending on the setup. the stock mufflers are slightly restrictive in air flow, so going with something like slp's or what i have, and a dyno tune, will net you additional power, not much but some. i had it dyno tuned at VMP (sweet!), and with only my JLT and my MBRP axleback on the stock H-pipe, it made 298 RWHP, 315 RWTQ. Justin at VMP agreed that itis probablythe open mufflers.
lower control arms can help shave off some time on the track cuz of the traction.
you also forgot to mention longtube headers, those would help a bit too.
i say this should be stickied too, just cuz every week we hear someone new coming on and asking about how they should mod their brand new mustang. maybe call this the guide to modding your new mustang.
4.10's are certainly the way to go. i feel like my top end might be a bit higher because of the additional effective torque. i've certainly buried the needle under both sets of gears, but the 4.10's feel quicker. i'll check on my gps one day soon, takin a road trip next weekend. i think 4.10's are a great choice of gear. it's a major difference in accelleration, and i've only lost a couple MPG on average, well worth it IMO.
