I should have posted this in wanting to buy/trade section but this is a S197 only option so i fugured here would be ok.

Im looking for the chrome peives that go around all the radio buttons for the factory radio. My 07 V6 did not come with them and all of the 08 without the pony package has them now and My GT has it as well.

Has anyone replaced the factory radio and is willing to sell/trade the ***** with the chrome bezzel on them? or jus the bezzel it's self. the Dealer only has a part # for the radio itself and not just the *****.

naaa thats not it, thats just the volum ****. The GT has a bezzel on all the button and ***** going around them.. those are the ones Im looking for.

I don't think they come off, I think you'd have to replace the whole radio.

I want the 08's chrome too ... really bad, just not bad enough to buy a new crappy radio. [:'(]

yea the Bezzels on all the buttons and ***** just add that touch to it

oh snap - i didnt' know the shaker changed its look in 08.

they aer even on non shaker systems.. I'll have to take a pic of the radion tomorrow to show ya guys what Im looking for..

They definitely do come off, but I haven't seen anyone selling them. You would think a dealership would be able to get one. I mean, if you mean up one button, that is replaceable, you have to get a whole new radio?

If someone has a CNC lathe, they could make a killing on this. I could make them but unfortunately don't have access to one right now. If they don't have a replacement part out by fall, I'll be all over this.
