Default Does anyone have another style **** on Hurst?

Just curious, is the thread on the Hurst short shifter the same as the stock? So I can replace the ball with something else?

I don't believe they are the same threads as the stock shifter. My kid made me this t-handle, I will see if he remembers what thread size he used. Well, tomorrow, as he is fast asleep right now.

Id rather not get another ball **** though. The T handle is very nice indeed though.

got my Hurst t-handle at Advance Auto Parts, it came with different thread adapters to fit different shifters.

Nice!! That is awesome, how do you like it compared to the ball? Only thing im not a fan of is it looks like an auto to the untrained eye lol

There is a replacement stick, that accepts the factory thread (M12 x 1.75??). The Hurst part number is: 238-0050. Jegs has it for $26.99. I have it on my Hurst Comp/Plus shifter, and just have the plain/boring factory shifter handle on it. With this stick you can put on any aftermarket handles that have the factory thread (maybe even the new BULLITT handle).

I like it alot better then the ball, only problem is that on a hot day the t-handle gets really hot and you end up branding the hurst logo in the palm of your hand, I just throw a towel over the shifter on the days that it gets to hot.
