Hey guys,
I wanted to know if you can add a S/C or turbo on the motor after a Shaker system is put on. I mean, I would HATE to cut a hole out in my hood only to find out later that I can't add a S/C. Any input?

Well people use it with the paxton vortech style.. And someone has made it work with a twin screw as well, anything is possible, how much you want to spend in the questions...

Saleen had a concept shaker twinscrew supercharger on one of their customer's Saleenat SEMA last year.

yes it will take some fab work. the shaker will not be funcional then, just for looks. i know many people have them with vortech, paxton, procharger... and it can be done with a KB, Whipple, Saleen... but its alot harder to make it fit, and look good.

It's not hard with a Centrior a Turbo system.
More challenging with the twinscrew Scharger, but it's been done.

Shaker systems work great with Centri systems and its not expensive. All you need to do is trim the engine cover and reroute the air coming from the shaker to the air filter.With Screw blowers, its a lot tougher. Saleen is the only one I've seen make it work and be functional at the same time. The problem with the screw blowers is in clearance and the blowers also take awaythe mounting points for the shaker system.
