Black Shelby Hoodpins on White

RE: Black Shelby Hoodpins on White
I love those new billet hood pins, I've been eyeing them myself. I read somewhere that you can get the black billet pins without the Shelby name on them, if I remember correctly....I think they were $10 cheaper without the name? Either way, I like them ............. they look great on your car.

Looks good. The black hood pins goes well with your theme.
I know they are only hood pins, but, how would you rate the quality. Any dings or heavy scratches that don't appear in the photos?
Also, it looks like you can get the brushed version from Moss Mustang.

I would double check the ones from Moss Mustang. I talked to the sales guys at Shelby on the phone and (at the time) they said they were not going to get any black ones without the "Shelby" stamped in it. In fact, I don't know if they were going to be receiving any more black ones at all. You CAN however get the polished ones with or without the Shelby stamp.
The pins and the kit are pretty good quality. No scratches or anything on them. Naturally from installation and trying to get everything fit, there's a wee bit of scratching now, but whatever, I can deal with that. Comes with everything except two self-tapping screws which you'll have to buy.
Another warning is that Shelby ships them without instructions, so you'll have to download them from the internet.
I'll see if I can find them again as well as a link to a good thread about hood pin installation.
