stock autos were 3.23's all 6spds were 3.42, no matter wut f-body it was. as for torque???? i dont know how u think the 3v has more torque cuz my 99 ws-6 def had more grunt down low but also more top end....it trapped 112 in the quarter compared to my 3v at 106. i really miss my ws-6 it ran low 12's with all bolt on's and DR's. its weird cuz my stang is inching closer to it but it still doesnt feel anywhere near as fast. but as for quality hands down the mustang is easier and nice to work on. expecially the exhaust it was apiece of cake on the s197's. over all i do like my 07gt more but that mite just because i own the stang now and not the ws-6....but i did just by an 94 formula

My Lt1's I had werent anything compared to the Ls1's I have owned. My 94 z28 had CAI, headers 3:73's 2800 stall, Lt4 cam, and polished and ported heads. It still didnt compare to the Ls1. BUT I really do like the stang better. I am just going to have to mod it to make it as fast or faster than an Ls1. My ss was a 6 speed, and I do miss that! All the others were auto's and I HATE autos. The stang is a five speed, and that is awesome. Oh and hands down the stang sounds better than my Ls1's. Cant wait to put the boomtubes on!
