I left my keys in the truck, closed it. Guess what? there is no way to open it unless you go through the back seat, which i didnt try, or try to find a spare.

I find that stupid. I have an 05, I dont know if the later years have that now.

Nope the later years dont have that either. It does seem pretty stupid but Ford dose it to save on cost. Pretty gay if you ask me. But I think there is a thread around here some where, where a guy made his own truck release button.

I like mine without, just means that if I have something in the trunk and the car gets broken into, nobody can steal from the trunk.

I don't think its as big a deal as people make it out to be. I have my key FOB on me at all times along with the key. When I first bought the car, I was looking for the trunk release and then realized there wasn't one. No big deal IMO.

I keep wanting to go check on my '67 and see if they have one cause I was talking about this with a friend the other day on whether it was to save money or to be more "retro"

i remember someone on here bought another FOB and left it in their center console or glove compartment and just used that as there internal trunk release...

Why didn't you just pull down the rear seat down???!!! and reach in and get the keys!!! I can't understand people who make this such a big deal.
