It may not be worth it to you, but to some people, it might be. Its really not a pain in the *** like I said. I have done MUCH harder things, this will be a walk in the park. Luckily I have a lot of experience with electrical, so I might just make my own harness.

You guys keep forgetting that OEM will always get you a better return on your money than anything aftermarket when it comes to a trade-in or resale. Most Aftermarket add-ons do ZERO to increase the value of the car whereas OEM options and accessories will. If it's easy for him to do then he should.

Well I actually bought the car used, and it had the shaker 500 in it already. Every car I have ever owned has had a high end stereo in it, so I didnt know anything about the shaker 1000 until I started reading up on the different systems. I was MORE than happy with the 500, but I just wanted a liiittle bit more bass. Ill eventually do all aftermarket, but I got the shaker 1000 head unit for free, and i picked up the sub/amp assembly for practically free as well. Say what you want, but the Shaker system sounds really good and it didnt cost me much for the parts, so in my situation, its the best route for now.
