TEST DROVE GRAB.ORANGE SHELBY GT
TEST DROVE GRAB.ORANGE SHELBY GT Went to get my car serviced and just to kill some time i walked over and looked at the Shelby's they had in stock. The sales guy insisted i test drove one, even though i told him i had no intension of buying. Well i test drove it and loved the car....I didn't think it was that must faster than my car but 4.10s do make a nice difference. But i really like the way it handled and the looks are mouth watering. By the way anyone looking to to buy one they had a white 07 shelby gt auto for (IT NEVER SOLD)41grand not too bad,but i cant let go of my limer though.

Who cares if it's an auto?! 41k is a nice price, I'd sure be tempted. Although that would be my toy car so it would have to be manual but if I was using it as a DD I might be tempted on the auto.

I wouldnt mind having a Shelby GT, its a cool name. But, its worth no more than maybe $4K over a GT, and thats pushing it. A GT + supercharger = cheaper than the Shelby
Nothing wrong with paying for a name, we all do it in life all the time, but its tough to do for cars which are so expensive.
I think the biggest problem with paying for a name these days, like Shelby or Bullit etc, is that they have no extra value in the long-run. They won't last as collector items like the classic muscle cars, and you won't see S197s going for half a million dollars 40 years from now. They will all be in junkyards basically, barely even remembered.
Tis sad! [&o]So yeah, names don't cut it anymore.
