Default Whipple Calibration Tool Voucher Question...

Guys,
I just filled out the voucher online to receive my calibration tool from Ford Racing so we can begin the Whipple Install.

When I went online to register and get the tool, the only items it asked me were for my PCM number, my Gear Ratio, and my Tire Circumfrence. It did not ask me about my Offroad H Pipe.

So how does Fordracing know to send me a tune for my ride based on the Offroad H Pipe installed???

Anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks,
ApexStang

That's why my car remains stock until the whipple goes on. No need for other mods until then as the SC will give me all the HP my stock internals can handle. Now, I will buy a CAI and tuner to pep it up a little until I swap it for the SC. Then I will just sell the CAI and tuner.

The FRPP cal does not work for any exhaust without cats. I asked Mike at Whipple about this a while back. If you use the FRPP tune, you will have check engine lights, because the rear O2 sensors are still activated.

I suggest if you want to avoid this, to contact Justin at VMP and get his "Custom Tune". He provides 6 months of support, review of Dyno's etc.

Thats cool. Justin is probably my first choice anyway, as he is plenty good from what I hear, especially with his background at SCT.

I have a tune from Justin at VMP and I'm very happy with his customer service and I'm still happy with the tune itself (I don't have an SC though.)
