Default is 3/4 of an inch enough clerance to run GT500 brakes with bullitts?

i know the backspacing is not enough on the GT/CS to run a GT500 brae conversion stock, and I really like my wheels like most people. So, I was wondering if the many people that have done gt500 brakes with bullitts or know how, are aware of how much extra spacing you need. Is 3/4 of an inch enough?
