Default Whipple or Saleen

I am trying to reach a decision between the Whipple HO kit, or Breenspeeds Stage II Saleen kit.I can have the Whipple installedlocally using the tune whipple provides, no dyno orcustom tunes. However they're close enough if I have any problems they're right there.

My other options is togo with the Saleen stage II from Brenspeed and drive 250 miles to Indiana have them do the install and get their custom dyno tune. Prices are very close between the two. Just looking for everyones opinon on which way I should go.

boy it's a tough one.....both are excellent
units...

if you go saleen, go stage 4 and run the
3.2 or 3.4 pulley until you forge....

good luck with the project

i think you should go with the whipple for the in case situations. the "oops" situations really make the 250 mile drive tough. though 250 can be reached on just one tank of gas and you can't beat the customer support.

all in all, i think you should with the whipple.

The choice is clear. I drove ~450 miles. Worth EVERY second of it, ESPECIALLY the drive home...

Both blowers are phenomenal. I feel that the Whipple HO kit is the best all around kit for our cars. Just so you know that I am not biased, I am getting the Saleen blower . We are discounting all Whipple products shortly, keep that in mind

Also, keep in mind the Whipple kits have the new Gen 2 rotors. A 3.6" pulley on the Whipple moves as much air (boost) that the 3.4" does on the Saleen.
I know first hand that Brenspeed rocks, as does Lethal Performance, so you won't go wrong with either choice.

Cheers, and best of luck with your suture supercharger!

you wont go wrong w/ either kit. but you gotta ask yourself which one YOU really want. bc you gotta live w/ the decision yourself.

The saleen is better but the support leans towards whipple unless you can get support locally.
