From what I was told the headers will only benefit you HP wise if you go with major HP add-ons, S/C, Nitrous, cams....things like that.
But for a basic bolt on n/a motor you would/should see only a 5 - 10hp increase max.

It depends on what your doing it for. Mine reason is for sound. But every little mod adds up eventually.

yeah i was expecting a little more with the LT's, but i guess every dyno is different and we can't accurately compare eachothers dyno's. from what i was told dyno's just show a gain, but hp will show more in your trap speed, any inputs from gear heads?

My 07 with a UPR X-Pipe, Flowmasters, JLT intake and SCT tuner, tuned by Pro-Dyno, I made 303 Horse and 323 Torque. So im wondering if long tubes would benefit me any? Your numbers seem right on for the mods, im just lacking the LT compared to yours.

These cars are not like the old mustang where you can get alot of hp just off basic bolt ons. To get realy/serious power you pretty much just have to go FI or nitrous.

Remember when your doing bolt ons eventually the law of diminishing returns comes into play. That is to say, eventually you'll gain less and less as you eek out the performance available. That is why you will see one person get 10rwhp from pullies and another claim they did nothing for him. Your numbers seem close to what I would expect to see. I think you'll see even less increases, should you add lets say pullies because there just wont be much left to get or free up. Your next big gains will come should you decide to add something along the lines of cams, blower, turbo, or nitrous.

This is just what I experienced modding my motor.

ORIGINAL: 06Saleen3V

It should not be corrected that much given an average temp and at sea level setting...interesting...
+1, something's fishy. When I dyno'd, it was 45* and low humidity. I made 434.98 corrected, with an SAE correction factor of .97. That means I ACTUALLY made 448.43. With a blower I was corrected less than 15 HP, I can't imagine that you were corrected 19 hp NA... Something isn't right with that dyno..

xxx motorsports in pensacola. they seem to know their stuff. i'm pretty much done with modding the motor, probably a spydershaft and that's it. my goal is just mid 12's N/A. i think i can get that with some good tires.

either the tune isnt the best or the dyno is not correct but i would maybe get a bamachips and brenspeed mail order tune, they are cheap and worth a shot!

i don't remeber the air density but the temp was about 72 and humidity was 15% and i am at sea level. the 301rwhp and 319ft/lbs was corrected. the uncorrected which was what i actually made today was around 320rwhp. what is the difference between corrected and uncorrected? i have the sheet but i do not have a scanner. i guess i could take a picture of it and try to post it.
That is a whole lot better and sounds as if it's quite a hot rod.
