Default Foglight mods - kewl upgrade - HOW TO soon to come.

I have searched and searched for the answer to this question with no luck.

I hate it when the OEM foglights turn off when you trigger the headlights on high beam. Has anyone figured out the wiring to bypass this featurewhere only the foglight switch will turn them off and on?

This was an easy change on my 99 Trans Am, but I am unsure of the new Mustang. Today I did some testing in the car and I have some ideas how to do it, but was curious if anyone else has already done it. Possibly a write up?

UPDATE!!!

Read on as I have discovered how to do it and a HOW TO write up will be completed on Sunday Feb. 24th 2008.

Uh, well, aside from the fact that the mod is technically illegal, I can't offer any specific input as to how to do this, though I have seen people talk about making this mod happen for them. Nice looking ride, by the way.

Well, here is my logic input. I only use it on back country roads when I want maximum lighting. There is never anyone else around anyway so I don't have to worry about laws. With my front windshield tinted more light is better when no street lights are around. Don't worry, I have a medical exemption for the tint so it's legal for me to have it.

When you get you stang inspected in FL would they check to ensure the fog light not turn on when using high beams. I know this was a problem for me some years back when I had a PU in Virginia. Bottomline..I was failed.

We don't have vehicle inspections in Florida...and that ROCKS!
