i'd go with 3:73s
by the way, how do you like your clear bra?

No they are 3:31's and get the 3.73's or higher as upgrading to 3:55's would really not be that noticeable IMO

I wasn't honestly 100% sure what the car had for gears, I know that they weren't 3:55 or 3:73, because those were options I didn't initially get. I called Tasca Ford Performance. the manager of the performance center said they were 3:11, that's all the info I have. The only way to tell for sure is to jack up the rearend and observe the wheel and drive shaft rotaion. That's all I have for info.

The best analogy I've always made with gear ratios is like this.
A long gear ratio is like a long rubber band thats been cut and you stretch it out a long ways but it takes a long time before it reaches it's limit.
A short gear ratio is a short rubber band thats been cut and you stretch it out but it doesn't take long before it reaches it's limit.
Taking your fingers pulling apart on 1/5ths of each the respective rubber bands is like going through each gears.
I know, weird analogy, but I just sort of came up with it after playing with ratios in racing games.

With all respect to Blue Star and you are a friend of mine here, the 4:10s' don't bother me on the interstate. It's just what you the person doesn't prefer. When I'm running 85 mph at 3K it doesn't bother me at all. I actually like the way the motor purrs, reminds me of the bullit that Steve McQueen drove. Also people hear make it sound you get there fast but there will not be anything left. I disagree again. Man I have gotten to three digits numbers and still had plenty of pedal left. I think it really comes down to personal preference of rpms. My wife's Crown Vick doesn't hit 2Ks' until 80 plus Mph however it has no take off and then engine frankly is still a sleep at that speed which means in my words, "No Pickup" or No *****.

I disagree if you raced me at the dragstrip you would lose. If ywe both took off from a stop I would have covered so much ground in the milethat you would be nothing but a blimp on a rear view mirror.

You'll be faster in the 1/4 mile but not in the mile. You'll use more gas. Bout it.

Spoken like a true pup. At 1/4 mile, you would be ahead of me by 20-30 feet. By 1/2 mile, I would have closed the gap some. By 1 mile, you would have been owned my me. But you are most certainly entitled to your opinion.
