I would keep the 6er and use the money to put some mods in it. You could use the 4k and drop a supercharger in it then it would be as fast or faster than a stock GT.

You can mod the V6, or get the base GT. Me personally I could trade in my 6 for a GT at anytime, but I have grown attached to it, and don't really want to trade it in

Think about how much a few thousand dollars means to you. Because that's in essence what you'll be losing by trading in your stang and getting a GT.

I propose a third solution (if you want the GT):

sell your stang private party. and then get your GT.
