Need advice buying a used SCT programmer
I am looking to buy a used programmer and C&L Racer intake from a guy who used it for 100 miles. Wanted to know if I would be able to use the programmer, since he has already hooked it up to his car. Is the SCT now locked to his vehicle, or will I be able to use it for mine. He says it is unlocked bc the car was put back to stock before selling the vehicle. Is it a safe buy or will there be trouble using the SCT for my car?

Im not sure about all the versions of SCT tuners but i know that the "newer" SCT tuners allow for up to 5 vins on the programmer so as long as he didnt tune all 5 out you should be fine...
