Sorry, but another I GOT MINE TODAY!!!
Traded my 05 V6 today for an 05GT (lost about 2.5K, but that's the price of stupidity).
All I have to say is ...WOAH! Sweet frickin ride!
Couldn't wipe the smile off my face if you tried.
Funny story, right as the salesman was about to hand me the last paper to sign, he said "oh, one more stipulation". I thought "oh great, this is where they try to screw me". But he said to complete the deal, I had to take "The Mustang Oath" which was to shred tire as I pulled off the lot. Of course I made my solemn vow, and when I got in the car they all ran outside, as i got the deal done right at 5 pm when they closed, and they did a "cop check" for me and gave the ok, I turned off the traction control and let it rip! As the roads were a bit wet from the 3" of rain we got that morning, I blew it COMPLETELY sideways, got control back, blew it the other way, and continued down the road at mach1. My salesman called my cell and said it was the best sendoff he'd seen, even if it didn't involve smoke!
These guys really love thier 'stangs!

Yeah, It was a bit hairy. This is my first 300+ HP car in 8 years, I guess I forgot how much they love wet roads. Ranks up there as the dumbest thing I ever did.....

By the way... I burned rubber BIG TIME leaving the lot when I got mine!
I burned rubber basically at every light on the way home... and it was 800 miles! [8D]

Congrats!
I finally saw another GT being driven "properly" the other night. The driver was chirping 2nd gear consistently. Man, the GT is loud for sure.
I have yet to light-up the tires in mine (i drive like an old lady
).
