Dont feel bad, I hit one in the Vicster, and it seperated my driver lower balljoint from the control arm and left me with a $500 bill, a writeup from work, and stranded for 1.5 hours for a flat bed.

The city paid for it, only because it was called in already, but not repaired yet.



The other car was not so lucky, another setback on my 351 project[:'(]

Was it the stock rims? I can't imagine a pothole big enough to blow a 235/55/17 tire.

I know years back our town was in an uproar because people were having their rims destroyed all over the place on onavoidable potholes. People tried to make claims for the damage against the town, and the town wouldn't budge.

BTW, everyone pays taxes on the road, but if enough people go to the town demanding they pay for busted rims, that raises taxes too.
