Default Fixing to purchase wheels/tires. Need advice.

So, my V6'er needs some new rims to replace the stock 16". I've narrowed it down to a couple black choices. My question: I'm thinking about doing 255/45/18 in the front, with a 18x9 rim, and doing 285/45/18 in the back, with a 18x10 rim. How does this sound? I'm having trouble deciding if I want to do the staggered look or not. From what I've seen, it looks really nice. Adding my black racing stripes today, so the red/black theme should look pretty nice on it.

I'll be fixing my pony emblems today, so let's not focus on that please.

thanks!

That's the sizes I have well 285/40, GET THEM!!! You'll love it!!! Also get teh BFGoodrich KDW2 tires to match. I have never been complimented on tires so many times!!!

Added a pic of the rear stance...

Will there be a huge difference between 285/45 and 285/40? Also, do you have any problems with rubbing? I'll be using the stock suspension(for now)

Has you tried to look for a matching tire in both the sizes? 285/45 and 255/45 ? might be pretty hard.
also with 285/40 and 255/45 you are keeping the O.D. the same all around.

The 285/45 are 28" tires... the 285/40's are 27" which are the same tire size as the 255/45... So yes there is a HUGE difference... Get 285/40 rears. No rubbing issues and i'm lowered.
