i read in another thread that people have had problems with the saleen kits and something burning in them? I also heard that people are trying to get saleen to fix the problem and they havent yet. do a search on here. i read it somewhere. im also interested in this kit if there are really no problems but am a little leary now

Are you guys just talking bulbs, ballasts, and wiring or the whole light assembly.

I've heard before that the Saleen HID's have had some housings melt. I figure the problem is solved, seeing as the new 25th anniversary eddition E302 has em.

I have the Ford HIDs and love them.

What the difference between the two?

No, the Saleen HID's are similar to the Ford set, in that they are a reflector-type housing.

Saleens are D2 bulbsand Ford are D3 bulbs...both are reflector
