Milwaukee Auto show PICS (big pics)
So I went to the auto show today.....there was alot of cool cars....however the stangs' section was pretty dissapointing. I looked at the new STI[>:]....$37,000 for a 4 door hatch.....thats alot of money for the 305 HP you get. Also saw the new Challenger....it was pretty cool...it was nice to see Dodge's fix for the Charger mistakeIt was funny though...the guy who was talking about it on stage was a complete fool...he said the 0-60 is only .1 second away from a new Viper....and he said the 1/4 mile was a 13.5 at 170MPH[&:]....there were some pretty cool older stangs including a SICK 04 Cobra. Anyways seeing all those cars really makes me appreciate my stang and how much Ford succeded in bringing alot of ponys for a little amount of money.

STi's though at running around 4.7 0-06 there arent that many cars in that price range that are that fast. Also, it is 305 hp and if I recall around 290 torque (a lot for small car). Plus, I have taken one out on a track and they are pretty nice. Lastly, Subaru has really stepped up the interior fit and finish. I am not a huge fan of the exterior but I will give it props in every other area. It might be an import but Subaru has great reliability and many of them putting out respectible power. I dont want this to turn into a Subarus are rice wagons thread just giving some input. Dont get me wrong I still love my stang.

It's a pretty heavy car, it doesn't weigh like a "small hatch."
They are quite reliable and amazing track cars and handle amazingly, but man the new ones are awfully awfully expensive.
At 37K there are a lot of cars that are that fast or come close to being that fast. When Subaru's are priced about the same as Bimmers but aren't much faster, something is outta wack.
Just saying... I love the WRX too but the new ones are kinda overpriced, not really such a performance bargain compared to the last generation.
Nice pic of the Challenger though.
