I'm puting my 2" drop Sportline Srings springs on with my stock shock this week but will I blow out the stock shocks? do I need to get new shocks before I put the springs on my car? and what are all of you runing for shocks on your drop mustangs?

Eventually you will, since the shocks will wear out. The usual method is to buy some Tokico D-specs. That's what I'm doing next.

I'd wait until you have the money to do the shocks, my recommendation is the Tokico D-Specs.

Agreed - the stock dampers were not designed for a) the higher stiffness of the sportlines or b) the lower height. You will be way underdamped (can you say pogo?) and will quickly wear them out. D-Specs are a good choice.

I f you got money to spend do it now so you can save on install and alignment but our 2 cars both have sportlines with stock shocks. Both are around 11k miles and no problems to date. Youll be fine.

I got the same thing with stock shocks and it's just bouncy at times. I guess they might go out so when they do I will change the shocks but I think I am good for a while!
