RE: Need help guys on the Roush Hood scoop
Sounds like Roush is dead on then...thats good to hear. After all the positive replies, I think I will give it a shot and buy direct from them. I have wanting the scoop for awhile, but got kind of let down when the dealer told me the price. And the install I can do myself. Just trying to save as much as I can for the next mod....lol. Thanks a lot guys..much help!

Come on man.
Not hard to match a straight black.
Home Depot rattle can will match.
Black is black.
Every painted Roush product I installed so far, were a pretty good match.
I think I did all colors except LL.

i got a guy that always gets roush parts for me for really good prices and he is a good guy to deal with....just do a google search for Royal Oak Ford in Michigan, get the phone number, and call the parts department......ask to speak to a guy named Dan (dept manager)....tell him youre a friend of Mike's (from Florida) and he'll take care of you....i have sent many people from here to him and he takes care of us all......he's a lot cheaper than any i have seen other than some joe bob selling his used set on ebay and his are brand new and he gets them straight from the roush warehouse down the road from him....

+1....
Dealt with Royal Oak through eBay.Roush scoop was a perfect colour match but had clear coat drips.Just my luck. Not Royal Oak's fault and theylooked after me.Other than the delay, the replacement scoop turned out perfect.

I bought mine unpainted and painted it myself. I went a matblack on a black hoodwith matblack strips with hood pins I think it looks good. Back in the 60's and 70's the ram air hoods were all flat black. I wanted a retro look.

hmmmm, i would have to say that im not sure about that one......warehouses are normally just like a distrubution center type things....they ship products out to all their third party sellers that are roush authorized dealers outside of roushperf.com...if one of their truck loaders walks to the main office and wants to buy a part hood scoop kit, i dont think he could give them the money a they give him the kit......i think they would tell him that he'd have to order it from one of the retailers or dealers......im not sure though, i could be wrong.....but the guy i named above has a good enough price to go through him....

Thanks ONFIR.
Just wondering.
I found out my X brother-in-law works there.
I'm not looking to put anything new on my car.
Thinking of selling it maybe this spring or next.
