Default Removing/Replacing the IUP piece over the airbag

Awhile back someone tried to break into my car and they broke out the passenger side window, my alarm went off and they ran away nothing stolen. However when the glass shattered the shards flew into the car and put nics on the brushed aluminum IUP piece that goes over the passenger side airbag, on the glovebox and some on the dash. Question is....is there a way to remove and replace this piece without disturbing the airbag underneath, if so, how is it held on? As for the glovebox I might replace that unless there is some sort of repair kit for that as well. The cuts aren't big but in the light you can see them, just looks roughed up.

The airbag is attached to the panels.I removed it once when I installed my dash kit,it's not fun.
But I really didn't attempt to pry or remove the aluminum,I'm sure it's all one unit though...
